I havent been sitting on my laurels, Ive been making, hopefully, an extremly powerful search engine (yet to be named).
I have some stats on my "little" search engine, which are below. It has taken approx 6 months to get this amount of data, running on a puny 1.5ghz PC with 2GIG Ram.
These stats are valid for the 16th December 2008. The spider is continuously indexing and reading pages.

There are 3.5 million pages, yet to download for indexing (which will produce more pages).
Search Engine Algorithm is also better than Google. Google uses ranking and page links, which can AND are being manipulated by those in "the know". My search Engine is 100% relevant and results are based on "latest" information. The results cannot be manipulated by websites.
Unlike Google and other search engines, who after 2 or 3 pages into your search, return obscure, irrelevant results, My Search Engine is 100% relevant, so although you get less results, all of the results will be relevant to your search.
For sponsors/advertisers, £1,000 investment, will get 200,000 impressions (thats JUST 0.005p per impression - good value I think you will agree).
It has taken me approx 8 years to design and code, with most of the work being carried out in the last 3 years.
